Chicken for sale!

We are excited (and kind of anxious) to announce that our inaugural batch of pasture-raised chicken is now available for sale. We are happy with how they turned out, but we’re having kind of a “first pancake” moment with them. Honestly, we have some perfectionist tendencies and we want to sell you the best chicken you’ve ever had. This chicken is fine. For off-season and non-heritage breed chicken, it’s really good. Next year, we will have heritage breed birds, and pasture for the full growing season, which will result in a higher quality product. When we’re happier with the product, we will raise our prices.

Ok, with that out of the way, here are the prices:
-Whole chickens: $5/lb (Or the Patron Saint Price* of $10/lb) - 3.5 lbs to 4.8 lbs - 4.2 lb average SOLD OUT
-Boneless Breasts: $10/lb
-Whole Breast (2 breasts on the bone): $8/lb
-Thighs: $8/lb SOLD OUT
-Drums: $7/lb
-Leg Quarters: $7.50/lb
- Wings: $6/lb SOLD OUT
- Bones: $2/lb SOLD OUT

And here are some other important details:

-These are Cornish cross chickens, bred for meat. They were processed on the farm.
-They are frozen.
-To order, send us an email including details about what size birds or what cuts, and how many of each, you want.
-We hope you will come to the farm to pick up. If you need delivery, we can arrange it.
-We take cash, check or Venmo.

*If you feel inclined to throw some extra capital our way to help support our fledgling farm business, we are also offering whole chickens at the Patron Saint price of $10/lb. Just include a note in your order, and we will prepare your invoice accordingly!
